Here are some photos of a fun first week of kindergarten!! We had fun making shapes and designs with Geoboards (also great for honing those fine motor skills!).
We found a really cool bug shell on the playground and saved it for closer inspection in science.
We applied our counting skills in this pop-cube activity. Each bumblebee had a different number written on it; students had to count the correct number of pop-cubes. We rotated through a table of easy numbers (1-5) and two tables with higher, more challenging numbers (6-13).
We worked puzzles ...
We got cozy during snack time ...
We even built towers bigger than we are!
We practiced our cutting skills ...
... and decorated special magnets to look just like us!
We even prepared -- and ate! -- a special Friendship Salad for snack time on Friday. (New friend Mr. Tucker joined us!)
